Holy Land Pilgrimage - Day Five

Our pilgrims spent the day on a walking tour of Jerusalem, visiting the Mount of Olives, starting at the church of the Our Father and then re-tracing the steps of Jesus on the first Palm Sunday.  Their next visit was to the church of Dominus Flevit (the Lord wept) where they celebrated Mass and enjoyed panoramic view over the Old City. A walk to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations followed, after which they concluded the morning with a visit to the Church of St Peter in Gallicantu which is built over the site of Caiaphas’ house. The day finished with visits to the church of St Anne built near the pool of Bethesda and  the Church of the Holy Sepulchre where they toured the church and walked through the souk to Jaffa gate.
