Our pilgrims began day three with a drive along the Jordan Valley towards the city of Jericho, calling at the traditional Baptismal site where they walked down to the river Jordan to renew their own baptismal vows. They then continued their tour to the city of Jericho. After celebrating Mass at the church of the Good Shepherd they had a tour of the city along with the opportunity to see the mountain where Jesus spent his fast of 40 days and nights. After their tour they journeyed on to the Dead Sea where the brave enjoyed a swim.
