Holy Land Pilgrimage - Day Two

Day two began with a visit to Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle, before travelling on to Nazareth where our pilgrims visited the Basilica of the Annunciation, built over the traditional site of the house of Mary, where they celebrated Mass before continuing with a tour of the basilica. A tour of Nazareth followed with a visit to the site of Joseph’s workshop and the synagogue where Jesus preached. After calling at at Mary’s well, now in a beautiful orthodox church, our pilgrims travelled to Mount Tabor, the traditional site of the transfiguration.  The day finished with a visit to the top of the mountain to visit the church and enjoy the spectacular views.
